Whilst I agree, what proof is there? You know fir certain that the PGMOL will simply say it’s a human error or not significant enough of an error! They’ll back their refs unfortunately.
I'd be asking for all of the audio and video recordings from the refs, lino's and the VAR officials for a start to see what was checked and what wasn't and asking why. As you say, nowt will change, but I'd ask the questions just to put the ****s up them. The fact a bloke who gave the same player 3 yellow cards is heading up the PGMOL is a ****ing joke in the first place. Is his apology today (how many is that so far since he got the job? Must be 3 or 4 to Brighton alone? ) supposed to give Brighton (or wider footy fans) hope that he will sort this **** out? Not a chance. Closed shop, corrupt to ****.
BREAKING! The PGMOL has admitted a mistake was made by the match officials and VAR when not awarding a penalty to Brighton in Saturday's Premier League game against Tottenham.
Thats the 3rd apology so far just to Brighton. But do apologies win prizes? Do they ****. ****ing joke, there was more mistakes than that penalty decision in the game as well.
As with everything else its the total lack of consistency which is what this crap technology was meant to prevent. Any decisions regarding penalties, such as a handball, should result in the referee having a look on the monitor then he can decide. None of this word in the ear saying its not needed. If I was a referee I wouldn't believe a single thing they say other than balls crossing the line. Its a complete farce.
