As annoying as spurs winning was man utd finishing 5th and missing out would be delicious.

It’s only worth starting to panic if Chelsea beat Real Madrid.

No see spurs in 2012 for reference. Finished 4th but missed out on CL qualification due to Chelsea winning the CL that year.

That's what I thought, hence my original comment about wanting Chelsea to lose in the CL this season (as they might otherwise steal the 4th CL spot for next season).

It’s changed since then. However there is a maximum of 5 teams from one country allowed. So only if the Europa League and CL winners were English AND both finished outside top 4 would 4th place lose out.
In that case 4th place would go into Group Stages of Europa League.

So in other words 4th place should be good enough for CL qualification baring the unlikely event man u finish outside the top 4 but win the EL & Chelsea win the CL.

A Leeds win today would amplify the pressure on Everton.

Let's hope Evertons upturn in results was over exertion and they burn out.

I see Brighton have had an apology from the PGMOL -- fingers tapping waiting for ours
The VAR official for that game was Michael Salisbury
who just happened to be the REF for our game against Palace when Joe Willocks/Palace Own goal was ruled out for a foul on the keeper
despite the Palace player pushing Willock into the Palace keeper

Spurs seem to have had loads of decisions go their way this season, when we played them we had a clear handball pen denied, they got two goals that shouldn't have counted v chelsea early season, Kane dived and got a pen v Everton. Then that farce yesterday.

And that's just off the top of my head.

They are **** and only still in the top 4 race because of these decisions.

Leeds ahead, want them to stay up, don't really care about Palace after sacking the promising Vierra and bringing back that dinosaur, but they'll stay up too.

Although VAR say they're fair, the simple fact is they weigh their decisions out, Spurs will lose out on all the 50/50 VAR decisions in the next match.

They're pretty lucky that they're playing Bournemouth, but any team will fancy their chances against Spurs right now, I can see us mangling them in a few weeks.

Ffs I was hoping for Everton to be getting cut adrift

We'll never get rid of Everton.
