Notice a couple of rumours floating around regarding Scott. One is he is a target of Middlesbrough and the second a target of QPR, to be a back-up to Paddy Kenny.

The follow up was Watford could go to Brentford to bring Richard Lee back.

At Soton, a certain female was saying she'd like to see RL back and that was before the game.

Richard Lee played 92 times for Watford so he can not be too bad.

More interesting is Richard Lee's website says he is Watford's goalkeeper. It has not been modified for two years <laugh>

I think you will find that loaches agent is trying to get him a move.We dont want or need Loach..hes just a shot-stopper and has no command of his area.Never understood why you sold Richard Lee as imo hes better than Loach..good luck with the season and good luck with your owner.

Loach should stay!!!!! He is much better than RG and JB is not ready to step up yet. I know Scott has is faults but so does every player in our team. He would likely be a bench warmer at Qphaha as Paddy Kenny is in form and their first choice, Joe steele is also in form for Boro so unlikely to be kicked out the team straight away. Why move from a team where he is the best keeper and plays week in week out to a team where he will be number 2? It makes no sense.

True, but its not going to be a huge increase as he is only going to be a back up keeper. I just dont see why its worth it.

Well, money talks - it's that simple. Not that I'm in any way comparing the two, but look at Nathan Effalump. He's only a back up bench warmer for the Tractor Boys but I'd bet he's on the same money as those who actually play for them. :)

If your contract says you get paid heaps , then you get paid heaps ,if you play or not doesnt change that!

I'll have a word with Ben Foster next Thursday - perhaps the W_Y charm could tempt him back!

I fully expect there to be some transfer moves out this January, if anyone wants them, simply to pay the bills.

me too not looking overly clever is it and this time round we dont have a points cushion to help go through another upheaval!

Look at the bright side Sean will prob sell all our promising kids that we arent using in favour of his old boys!!
we need a coherent plan for the rest of the season , for 3 and 5 yrs time and that has to be our kids of today staying at the club ,whether we are in L1 or not!
saleability wise you will always be able to sell a promising youngster for more than a 30plus yr old!
What we do now and in the next three months will shape the club for the next couple of years or so imo! Were at a crossroads, I hope and pray we make the correct choice!

There is so much going on, I only hope it does not affect us on the pitch! these battles do us or the team no favours what so ever!

I dont think its a battle as such Al , but I agree with Roger (on another thread) when he said we are approaching a crisis point!

I think number one concern for January is Marvin Sordell, after his performance for U21's I can see offers coming....as far as SL goes I think Deano 58 has hit nail on head earlier in thread,no command in box.

If you can you need to keep hold of your best players,no team can expect to compete if they keep selling their future..If your money situation is as dire as people on here assume then relegation isnt an option.Dodgy or shady rich men shouldnt be allowed anywhere near football clubs! Hopefully (like us) you will turn the corner.good luck!
