Neither Fulham nor Chelsea doing us any favours at the moment. As I typed that Bournemouth have gone 1 up at Leicester
Bournemouth made some decent signings in January and their performances have picked up. They’re competitive in most games at the moment and have every chance of staying up. (Hopefully that fcks their chances)
Hopefully Villa will get their regular undeserved win with a shinner in the second half. Forest passed their crown of spawniest side in the league over to Villa a few months back who continue to do very little in games and somehow end up winning. Sod’s law says the one time we’d benefit from it is the one time they don’t.
Basically if JM had 2 1/2 years remaining on his contract when he got sacked, then we would pay him a lump sum initially (probably 3 maybe 6 months worth of his contract), then the remainder of his contract would be paid to him monthly. If JM got a job within 6 months of being sacked, he still gets to keep the lump sum payment, however the subsequent monthly payments may be reduced, or not paid at all, depending upon the salary he is on when he joins his new club. Thus if we were paying JM £10k per week, and he decides to join Leicester, who only pay him £1k per week, we would still have to pay JM £9k per week, to make up the difference between his new contract and the contract with ourselves. If Leicester pay him £15k per week, then other than the lump sum payment we would not have to pay him anything. Think it was reported that overall Spurs were due to pay Mourinho £16m when they sacked him, however because he got a job with Roma, they only had to pay a total of £7m to make up the difference between what he was earning and what Roma were paying him.
Surely you can't expect Fat Frank to do anything other than what he is good at, making poor teams look even worse. He's probably instructed Chelsea to lose to any team battling relegation, just to upset us on here
Think Marsch said something along the lines of the club investing on long term future by signing players like Rutter. It was in a press conference. Very much similar to what was said when we signed Gnonto.
Leicester and forest in danger now of being cast adrift. Not a bad day as it stands. Soton next up at home to peps lads.
Not the greatest set of results today but... Southampton look doomed. I stand by my prediction that Forest will finish bottom. Leicesters result today leaves them isolated and under pressure. If we beat them at Elland Road we should have enough points to keep them at bay. Tomorrow is a huge game.
Aski…… thanks for that mate so sounds like good news for Leeds I respect of stopping paying for Marsch immediately except for the lump sum he has already got that only takes him up to August, win win We obviously cannot reply on others to help us as it’s so tight, so we will have to do it our own way. A win tomoz takes us to 12th and the existing bottom 3 look like toast
Who knows Gracia might decide to play both when they're fit enough to start. Certainly had no qualms about doing that for the last 30 mins on Tuesday
Leicester in big shyte now. if we can win tomorrow gives us 7 points on them then they then have the mighty challenge of Man City Away next week. all hypothetical I know but tomorrow it can all be all true. I don't see Forest winning any of the next 4. Scum H, Liverpool A ,Brighton H, Brentford A. Southampton could be 9 points adrift if we win tomorrow too. Massive 3 points to collect at ER come sunday.
No. I think Palace at home and Leicester at home are our easiest fixtures and although neither will be easy I think it's reasonable to hope for 6 points from those games. That would get us to 35 points and almost safe going in to May. I have a feeling we'll get beat at Bournemouth. Dunno why because I think they are worse than us but I just feel it will be must win for them whereas we might go into it a bit "soft".
