In fairness, at the beginning of the season, if offered a Croatian International who scored a hat trick against Spurs, or Redders, we’d all have picked Orsic. Cos we’re as clueless as they are.

I remember the discussion about Ely v Redmond for who you’d rather keep in the summer. I was in camp Redmond then but didn’t think there was much in it. But still surprised he went off to Turkey tbh as think he’s still a PL level player at a mid/lower prem team. It’s hard to argue that he wouldn’t have been better for us this season then Ely or most/all of our other 10s.
He was a hot and cold player for sure but over a season he would create and score more than Mo El and he did his fair share of pressing and tracking back too. With that goal for example, Mo El would've been looking around for a pass after beating the first man.
Yeah I do kinda agree and wasn’t overly worried at the time as hoped/thought we’d replace better. It’s purely the fact we’ve been so bad going forward with so little threat that makes you look back.
Possibly didn’t do his research but I reckon he was trying to bait Tella into some kind of controversial answer. The commentators did raise ‘what will Tella do if Southampton are relegated / will he be at Burnley next season’ a couple of times so the story is on their radar.
