21,000 in a 25,000 stadium is not filling it. Neither is 23,500 for City. Why can’t the MKM be fully utilised to capacity like other stadiums?
Unless it's a mad rush, I don't think it was an actual sell out at the reduced number either. There were still rows of seats available when I looked at the ticket site close to the deadline.
There is no segregation required in Rugby League so certainly no reason I can think of other than the plod insisting on it due to previous issues.
My relation managed to bag himself six free tickets from HCC for today. He works there. You can have as many as you asked for. Agree it should be a boost for the local businesses who desperatly need it. Unlike football fans who sold the stadium out every other week when we were in the PL and according to councillor thicko who claimed they didn't bring a penny peice into the 'town'.
word of warning, stay away from hull today, the old faithful might be rioting this derby is too big and fierce for such a one sided defeat.
Just got back from the chippy, (for Mrs Two, I'm a traditionalist so meatballs for me) and two silly biints behind me were telling each other that although one was red and white and the other black and white it was all good banter, and not at all like football. I couldn't resist but show them the image and tell them that's really good banter. Well, you'd have thought I'd pissed on their chips, and the following silence was more stoney than a quarry. https://images.app.goo.gl/51Hq1C5ubzxnfzT16
'Apparently' as some sections are sold as 'unreserved' seating (i.e. Free for all for the seats) there has to be a 10%.? reduction in those areas
Yes, which previously has meant a 23,5000 limit (which has never been reached). So why 21,000 for this one?
Just an on the spot fine and free to go home . What would a football fan get for encroaching on the pitch and sticking the boot into somebody? He didn’t get a banning order, I know a Rovers fan who told me at the time he was stood near where the players come out at the next game. Hardly inconspicuous.
