Difficult to find any positives going into this one, other than the fact it brings the end of this abomination season a game closer.... At home, off the back of a disappointing performance, you'd hope to be looking for a bounce back. Normally.... Trouble is, the problems are far less superficial and we face a well led, combative, talented team, playing with confidence - with half an eye on possible (if now unlikely) CL football next season. We will need a change of attitude and probably some good fortune to stay in it for as long as possible to maybe get some fluency and confidence back ourselves. Don't see it happening, I'm afraid!
Although we were terrible in the Southampton and Everton games and didn't deserve anything, we were also unlucky to lose them. The Southampton penalty was ridiculous (and certainly wouldn't have been given against certain teams), and the Keane shot for Everton was amazing (but unlikely to go in most times he attempted it). So deserved or not, we could be better off by four points. And you never catch ManU fans worrying about whether their victories were deserved or not (and they've had plenty that they don't). In other news, it's not other news. They are still going on about Kane, on mainstream and social media. I wish Kane hadn't done that but can we guarantee that there would have been a red card if he hadn't? I'm pretty sure that reds have *not* been given for a hand in the face, even though the rules say they should. Until there's 100% consistency with those decisions, it makes it harder to criticise players for exaggerating the impact. Secondly there has been a massive backlash against Kane for this, far more than other players. It's as if he's the only person that has ever done this, and his is the worst example of it. No, many other players have done this and for far less reason. Maybe if the reaction was like this on every occasion it happened I might be more excited by it.
If Kane was playing for a team based in the north west the media would be blowing smoke up his arse but as spurs fans we should because to this treatment
Can only see 1 result today a very in form Brighton against a very out of form Spurs and we are unchanged.
You need about 10 seconds to decide that was handball ffs useless bastards are looking for a camera angle that makes it look legit
Mitoma’s arm was bent he trapped it with forearm and bicep area imo first camera angle showed it clearly
