If I think about it though, back then football had gone through a long period of long ball 4-4-2, missing the midfield and humping it up to a tall clogger up top, suppose at the time Keegan had us play a different kind of style.
It's since been well and truly outdone by various teams changing styles, Wenger with Arsenal, Pep with Barca and City and Klopp with Liverpool to name a few.
