he had "spies" watching other teams training sessions and Derby spotted the"spy" and Lampard , there then manager , bitched about it quite a bit probably not helped by the fact Leeds & Derby have hated each other for over half a century .

Ah see this is what I like simple language. Yeah now you've explained it, I remember spygate, I thought it was quite amusing. Good to see managers passionate about sussing the opposition out. I didn't know Lampard had bitched about it. Reminds me of the days between Revie and Cloughie.

He bitched like ****, only for Maureen to say, Lampard had hidden in a laundry trolley to get info for him on one of their CL opponents. :biggrin:

I knew someone had grassed on Bielsa, I didn't know or didn't remember that person was Lampard, I can see why you may dislike him.

my favourite bit was the Bielsa press conference where he explained what info he was after and even had some spreadsheet projected showing the info he had garnered on every team they had faced <laugh>
