The outspoken former Magpie has repeatedly criticised club owner Mike Ashley via his Twitter account, a factor which strongly contributed to his departure from Tyneside during the summer transfer window. Once again, the 29-year old has not held back his thoughts on the topic. "Why change the name other than to upset the natives? Sports Direct Arena [is a] big no no," he said. "It will always be St James' Park to me. Ashley and his subordinates know the cost of everything but the value of nothing... #numpties."
Ha Ha! Great analogy. We could call our stadium the She Bu Goliath, or something big to make it intimidating - like - 'when you play here, bring your nappies!' - or something classy like The Loftus Debonair Rartatatataaaah!
