As I said, I don't know you and therefore nothing's aimed at you. You're very new here, most of us have been on since 2011.

There is no animosity, only nut cases think about pointless **** like this. Or people with too much time on their hands.

    Pouch for example

    Anyway, avoided that crap

I'm thinking if I do believe in any conspiracies at all, I certainly don't at a government level. As to say, I certainly believe a government is far too incompetent to up to the grand level conspiracies that people think they are.

Corporations are up to far worse and probably want to take over the entire world

False claims? Which are these? My son happens to be an Assistant Professor of Radiology and Radiological Science working at the John Hopkin University carrying out research. Google it and you should find him. I never said I did.

So you have quoted one scientist?

WHO. Have you heard of them? That's more than one scientist.

It always sounds good how you misphrase things but it's still misphrasing nonetheless. I'm sure you would accept that the majority scientist view does not support your chap but it's me who isn't listening to scientists. Really?

You can have whatever view you wan't I honestly don't care if that's your view but I will believe we landed on the moon, I will believe that the Earth isn't flat until someone convinces me otherwise. Not everything is a conspiracy believe it or not.

I saw a "new" 9/11 video the other day that's only come out this year, someone filming from basically the building over the road from the towers.

It's still mad to think that actually happened and wasn't a movie.

    I'll post it later.

I'm not even on about who was behind it, will we ever truly know really? Do we know the truth about most things that go on in the world? No.

That was just an unreal scene.

Imagine jumping to certain death just to avoid burning to death instead, poor souls.

I had the AstraZeneca / Oxford university vaccine at the testing stage, when the hospitals were full of sick patients and many my age were losing their lives to COVID.
The vaccine worked to a good degree and was sold worldwide much cheaper than others.

Well by the sound of their occupations, with all due respect to your son, the scientist I mentioned is far better qualified to comment on this subject matter. Its not quantity that is required, its quality. Now come on you're just being disingenuous and silly with lines like "you've found one scientist". We both know there are thousands and thousands world wide who hold these opposing views. Even just on the subject of lockdown, The Great Barrington Declaration (which has almost 1m signatories from experts in the field) disputed the WHO botched policies. And some of those scientists still support a vaccine so its not like that was their axe to grind or they were some weird conspiracy cult. Its a lazy way of trying to belittle this guy, just because I haven't taken the time to post all of those thousands and thousands of scientific articles.

I think you've missed the point, its not that you're not listening to the scientists. You're just not listening to them all, which is always a mistake. Hence there have been countless articles across many publications like Lancet and the BMJ from scientists complaining that we are allowing science to be highjacked by agendas, rather than what it was previously. Its a very worrying trend. It seems common for people like yourself to jump to the conspiracy theorist line whenever the narrative is challenged. Seems a bit of a 'thickos' approach to listening where you convert the challenge into something you're comfortable defending like flat earth or moon landings. Why not just challenge what the guy says or his credentials? What has the moon landing or flat earth got to do with it?

Its just an opinion. The same as suggesting that the vaccine would have saved him. There is no way of knowing obviously. What brought me to that opinion is when I realised that the vaccine wasn't doing what it purported to as fully vaccinated people were still dying of the COVID virus. The same vaccine we were originally told prevented death from COVID. The same vaccine we were told that prevented you passing the virus on. And all the other various statements about its effectiveness our government and the WHO told us, but have slowly been eroded one by one.

He was just unlucky in my opinion on the balance of probability. The COVID virus is not a big threat to those sub 50, so if his friend died from it sub 40, he is in a category of uncommon cases. Some peoples immune system doesn't seem to be able to deal with this virus, regardless of their vaccine status. Its sad of course, nobody wants anyone to die (well bar a few on here wishing death on people who wouldn't play along). This is no different to flu of course, which still kills folk of varying ages regardless of vaccine status. That's life essentially.
