You know the worst thing about this, which this dog whistle bullshit will deliberately avoid mentioning, is that the fundamental problem was/is that the authorities thought those girls weren't important enough to bother about. They were written off, just like the boys were written off when the catholic priests were doing it, and when the likes of Saville, Harris and the other DJ's were doing it. That's the central theme here.

One of my proudest achievements as a union rep was my involvement in the anti war movement via Stop The War from 2001 onwards. I helped distribute tens of thousands of leaflets, helped arrange work place meetings, helped arrange local anti war events and collected thousands of signatures on petitions and hundreds of pounds in work and local community. When Stop The War wrote their book my work place got a mention. But **** me, have they climbed up their own arses! They are calling for negotiations to end the war????? WTF is there to negotiate? Russia needs to get the **** out of someone else's country end of story surely?

I genuinely fail to see how you can be against Britain going to war against Iraq (run by a blood thirsty piece of ****) yet not be against Russia invading Ukraine. Complete idiocy IMHO.
