He's on a long deal and doing pretty well in Turkey. He wasn't shipped out because he wasn't wanted, just that he wasn't adapting well.
Someone on HDM comments said that Óscar has moved out of his gaff in Beverley and is living in a hotel until the end of the season because he’s leaving in the summer. I’d take anything from there with a pinch of salt but are some players like Óscar unsettled and pushing for a move away in summer?
He was probably promised a promotion push, but instead has Jones and Slater misplacing passes to him.
and there's the rub The first half against Rotherham was tedious in the extreme , I endured it rather than enjoyed it. Then Darlow decides to have a brain fart and they nearly score (should have). At present I find watching paint dry almost as entertaining. Maybe it's just modern football but i don't know how much more I can take before painting the fence looks more attractive.
Every other team know LR has instructed the team to play out from the goalie, so they rush our defenders which saw us nearly concede twice during that play, it’s insane to keep trying the same thing and failing time after time, it’s anti football in my eyes, defensive ****e in which we don’t concede many and don’t score either, Rosey will be gone at the end of the season if the rest of it produces the same boring games like the Rotherham one.
This is such a cliche. Those two both have a very high pass completion but that doesn't seem to matter on here because they played in League 1 so they must be bad on the ball...
TBF people said Ingram was awful with the ball at his feet, but he's got the best pass completion rate for a keeper in the division
Pass completion when you are being cautious is misleading. Assertive pass completion (if it's measured) might make some sense. Seri is the only decent passer of the ball in the team and he's among very view who leave everything on the pitch. Absolute baller.
At a goal kick pass it to the left and receive it back immediately, pass it to the left and receive it back immediately, pass it right in front of you and receive it back immediately, then actually pass it out of your own 18 yard-box, guaranteed 75% pass completion rate. Stats eh? The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I think my doubts about Rosenior started at the very beginning when he stated 'its not the result its the performance'...
We won a few games under Shota at the start of the season but played shocking. Long term we didn’t win many games because we never played well.
What an odd comment, of course they win us points. More shots should lead to more shots on target which should lead to more goals which leads to winning games which means more points. It's sort of how this football business works.
You call my comment odd but then you follow it up with with a "shoulds" haha.... And if you want to try and get condescending with your "it's sort of how this football business works" bollox. The football business works on results, I should know, it's been my business now for 30yrs and in those years I've never once seen a manager keep his job because his "stats* where amazing but their results weren't. But hey, you seem happy because we should get more shots on target and that should lead more goals. Just when are they going to come? We have scored one more goal ( I think ) under Rosie then we did with shota. Oh and just FYI... Our Results are 1 win in 9. That's just not good enough and the only should that really makes sense is Rosie / us should be doing better. You normally post some great debate and I enjoy going back and forth with you, but this one really has got my scratching my head! Maybe Rosie is one of the guys in the game that's a great coach / assistant but just isn't a manager ( I know it's way to early in his career to make that judgement, I'm just thinking out loud). We've seen it with certain coaches before
You began the condescension, I was just responding in kind. For you to seriously suggest that having better stats and better performances don't lead to better results, I dunno mate. Like you say, scratching my head. We're into the tail end of the season with nothing to play for, what relevance are results now? What manager gets sacked because they finished 17th instead of 13th?
