only saw the last 15-20 minutes but fair play to Everton, 1 down, man down but still giving their all.
Liked what I saw from Everton. Can't suss Spurs out. In the most appealing league in the world, located in London, Best stadium in the world and one of the best training centres in the world, show massive ambition with some of their appointments then **** their pants at spending on transfers and instead pay fortunes in compensation.
Three and a half years of dross boring football ... that's the failure at spurs. Watching us makes my eyes bleed most weeks. After paying 50 quid plus a booking fee to watch us have 1 shot on target against Milan (in the 93rd minute) I ain't going again until we start playing football. We won **** all under Jol, **** all under Redknapp and **** all under Pochettino but we played great football.
This is the foundation any club needs though, entertain the customers first and foremost then hope to build on that. In all honesty though. The squad that has been built over recent managers requires another defensive manager to come in to appease Levy so he doesn't need to do a squad overhaul. Realistically though he goes down that route it keeps you in the same place of safety first football and even more signings to fit that style of play. Potter might not actually be a bad shout for you and would fit Levy like a glove whilst improving the style.
What's bad for Spurs is that no one is surprised. They went out there and did what everyone knew they would do Players don't give a flying ****
Only Leicester, Portsmouth and Wigan have won the FA Cup or League outside of United, Chelsea, City, Arsenal and Liverpool since 1997 (26 years). Only Swansea and Birmingham have won the league Cup outside of United, City, Chelsea and Liverpool since we won it 15 years ago. So I don't get ****ed off not winning a pot (I'd love us to) but the football is mindnumbingly boring and or bad...and that seriously passes me off
I feel like I'm going nuts, we've played 27 games but I can only see 10 more fixtures for us (4 home, 6 away). Is this the sort of shenanighans I need to expect towards Newcastle now?
