Tell him Waggy and Chillo trained on Picky Park sometimes and one of those pitches nearest Fiveways had a concrete block buried in it near the surface- tarts !!! LOL
Derby won the title the year after this on this pitch and again a couple of years later. Leeds pitch was worse and Man City was as bad. They all played good football and never had loads missing through injuries.
https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/liam-rosenior-hull-city-plea-8317728 Not exactly what I was hoping Rosenior would come out with. Not helping himself imo.
he's worse at CB - LB is probably the best place for him to play - at least he can push forward when he's in the final third
I agree in as much as I'd pick SMc and AJ over him, but imo it's ridiculous that he somehow has to be played, and that currently means having him at LB.
If Acun’s going to sack Rosie after last summer’s **** transfer window that he oversaw, it might be time for Acun to sell up & go somewhere where he can own & manage the team at the same time!
“If we win 2-0 everyone goes home happy, we had one shot on target. He talks about Saturday like we peppered their goal for 90 minutes.
I think Acun & Tan have a really simple question to answer. "Do I/we think Rosie will have us challenging for promotion if we back him in summer" If the answers yes then we carry on, if it's anything but a yes then they need to move him on.
So we're meant to take it as gospel when Tan says Rosie should "Be more brave" but when he tells Burnsy there's nothing in this story we don't believe him?
The summer Acun chased the so called “big names” & Rosie’s supposed to be able to make them all work. What’s the point of him taking over & then continuously sacking managers after manager. If he wants immediate success, Hull City isn’t the answer, perhaps try a 2 team league like Scotland.
Nothing more then I said earlier TBF and even that's just what I've been told so could be wrong......,Acun wasn't happy after sat and with the kind of football we are playing over all
That's fair enough, but if he doesn't believe Rosie can do what he wants short or long term, why would he keep him and just waste more time/money?
Or if you're going to change, change now and the new guy has x amount of games to size up the squad etc... ( I don't think we'll see anything till summer anyway )
Acun and his advisers will be looking at aspects of the club over the remainder of the season. Acun pulled in a near capacity crowd on Saturday, he wants the fans to see entertaining football to get them to sign up for passes and buy more tickets, Acun has talked about playing attractive, fast-paced attacking football - sadly not much of that was on show on Saturday. I think the 'leak or story' in the press was a gee-up to Liam to change the emphasis of the team. Acun has to decide if he trusts Liam with the cashpot in the transfer window, I think the jury is still out on that one.
