I sense plenty of reverse jinx attempts from you lads but you know as well as I do you think Tottenham should win tonight . You'll soon realise the fruits of my work are unrivalled.
You talk about us and reverse jinx attempts, seems to me you are talking about yourself this constant you should beat these teams bullshit, do you think that we don't know that! We are Spurs fans we know that every time we get into a position where something positive might happen (IE we can go third tonight with a win) then we will find a way to balls it up. We are also football fans we all know that whilst the better team will win the majority of matches sometimes inexplicable results happen you know like in the 3rd round of the FA Cup where a league 1 team beats a good premier league team, or where our opponents tonight beat the league leaders. Tell you what I do know, if I had watched my team completely outplay Man Utd to go above them in the league, I wouldn't be particularly worried about another rivals game tonight, I would be on my own teams forum celebrating with my fellow fans, not behaving like some 3rd rate wum on another teams.
plus ça change Everton lining up with 5 in the middle against our 2. I think we know who will be dominating and thereby winning. This was a perfect opportunity to change the system . Perisic has done nothing to deserve to be playing. Forster did nothing to warrant Lloris returning. Son still starting. Can this season and the rubbish football we are playing just end please?
I’m quite disappointed with the team selection but I appreciate there isn’t much option due to injuries. With the players that are available, I suspect we couldn’t change the formation either.
4 at the back? Porro, Cuti, Dier and Lenglet PEH, Skipp, Devine Kulu, Kane, Danjuma If Porro goes forward, a DM covers. And we would have an AM in the team. At the weekend we saw Brighton have 33 ! attempts. Palace had 31 ! We will be lucky if we see us have 5 tonight.
Unfortunately DH, different generation (whilst this Steve Austin, would also be useful) I was thinking about the Six Million Dollar Man, which is probably a bit before your time
I'd like to have seen something like that too, maybe Sarr initially in for Devine. Be great to see Alfie get some chances though.
The problem with playing 3 in midfield is that we won’t have any more midfielders to call upon in the case of any injuries. I wouldn’t risk Devine just yet unless we’re 5-0 up.
