We don't play with wing backs. Tomorrow's game is the biggest of the season. Sinisterra is our best player if and when we get him fit and firing.
Are you sure about Sinisterra ? Personally I've yet to see why you'd think that, but then I missed the Everton game when he scored. Most of the time since he's been injured or getting himself sent off. Although thinking about it I've seen him a couple of times and he's looked good but then faded, maybe that's a fitness issue and he simply needs a run of games. Not saying you're wrong, but for me the jury is still out and I'd like to see a lot more from him which hopefully will happen this week
Just a gut instinct on him mate. He was just getting going when he got sent off. Then injury. Then a niggle. At the beginning of the season he got a run of games and looked to have that x factor about him. He showed decent pace, good first touch, good awareness and the lad has a terrific shot on him. His first comeback from the foot injury was starting to gain momentum but he looked rusty. He hit the post against Accrington from distance, scored one and in the other games was starting to regularly get goal scoring chances but he couldn't quite finish them off. The fact he just seems to be in the right place at the right time fairly often shows me he has the talent to be very good. He just needs a run of games to get rid of that rustiness. The sad part is we might not see it until next season.
Observations from today: Eire sounds like he owns County Clare…. Just been mowing my lawns Gracia presser and the only thing he said worth taking notice of: Bamford is our No9…… really, who told you to say that? Is that the official club policy because factually he is shyte right now and scored how many goals over the last 2 seasons. Sinisterra is our best player on paper, so Emu not far off. Based upon goals per minutes played hes the best in the league. Yes I know we don’t play on paper, but we live in hope
It’s three lawns and it’s a penance sometimes. Needed doing as I sure as hell won’t be in the mood early next week
How many players will we have in our squad tomorrow who are physically incapable of playing for 90 mins ? Cooper (maybe) Sinisterra (definitely) Bamford (definitely) Rodrigo (definitely) Rutter (definitely) Gyabi (maybe) Gray (definitely) You can then add any players coming back form injury or illness like McKennie, Gnonto & Wober. Tough for Javi having to manage the game time of all these lightweights.
An interesting article - what would the league look like if the VAR decisions had all been correct? We've lost 4 points to wrong decisions, it would seem, BUT it would have put us in 14th place on 30 points. Sadly, the link is to one of YEP's bloody 'Gallery' articles that spreads over 5 pages when it might only be 1. https://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co...-rivals-would-sit-without-var-gallery-4090832
