They claimed they lost £170m and topped the 'covid loss table'. (The next one down, I think was Arsenal on £59m.) And got away with it. It's absolutely ludicrous.
And they're claiming loss through sales too. Maybe we should do that, we planned to sell Salah and Mane in that time period to raise £300m
Really is a **** show of a season. No one is consistent other than arsenal and city starting to get there. Newcastle in 3rd at 1.8 ppg. Wouldn’t normally get you 4th let alone 3rd. Spurs lost 9 games and only 1 point off 3rd We should be well out of the race for 4th and I don’t think we’ll get it as we just can’t get a run going, but 11 games to go. If can get up to 25 points then given how the rest are just as inconsistent then could be there or thereabouts
Possibly one of the more annoying aspects of the season, if we could put just a bit of a run together we'd be right in the mix for fourth. Can you imagine pipping utd to fourth on the last day of the season, that would be some silver lining
Just the **** ups. a couple of results the other way and we’d be bang in the mix. 1-0 Bournemouth 0-0 palace 0-0 chelsea That’s 5 points if we score the pen v Bournemouth and beat 2 teams that were in awful form. 3 points behind 4th
That’s how bad things have gotten This season is causing the very fabric of society to breakdown and our brains to melt
