As we approach middle age, for those of us that have made a success of our lives: gardening becomes a thing. So here is a thread dedicated to that topic. First up I'd like to discuss lawncare, specifically aeration. What is everyone's view on aeration tools, do you think these are worth getting or is there a cheaper alternative? please log in to view this image https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08DXQ5RPK/?tag=not606-21
Prefer the spike rollers. That looks like it’ll punch too big of holes in your lawn. Might as well go old school and whack a basic garden fork in it.
This is an interesting watch. Before I watched this, I bought one like the ones he discards right at the start. It's rubbish, you have to poke all the dirt out with a stick after each plunge. Only £30 but it's going to the scrap metal bin at the dump. That IS a waste of money.
Just using the Latin stem "aer" which means "air" in English. A bit like aeroplane and airplane, I suppose.
Don’t ask ‘er indoors, you need to approach this like a man. You need some earlies and a main crop. Suggest waxy for the earlies, good cold in salads and personally I’d go for a red main as they are good for jackets, roasts, mash and hold intact well in stews.
They weren't as funny or entertaining but they were gentle it has to be said, so I said it, so to speak, in a so to speak manner.
