    Sad thing for Smokin Joe fans like myself is....he had it won. Ali gave up on his stool. Frasier wanted to go on. His trainer goes down in Ali history.

    Have to agree with you. As someone from the boxing fraternity said on radio the world stopped to watch the fight. That would never happen with the muppets in the heavyweight division today.

    Was in Acapulco when it took place, watched it in one of the resorts top bars, forget how much they charged but it wasn't cheap. Great fight between two great gladiators.
