I think if you look at things in retrospect then many of the massive value purchases were Woodward vanity projects and not manager demands/requests.

I absolutely agree! I don’t think the debt situation has anything to do with any of the managers. I hold Woodward completely liable for the mess along with the absolute negligent Glazers who were all too happy so long as they got their special dividends. Together, those two were effectively in collusion to destroy the club.

He won't need to, they'll make a DVD out of this one.

That season we nearly won something but didn't, again.

Imagine how many finals they've lost. And he's crowing about a league win lol.

I'm sure we'll still finish above them btw. But given the choice I'd rather we won another trophy.

    Just revisiting this!

Probs wouldn't have been that bad an idea, eh?

Weghorst isn't a striker (barely even a footballer) and McTominay is not a proper central midfilder. If you want a tall bloke up front somehere making a nuisance of himself, might as well try someone who recently scored some goals.

That way, Weghorst is not in the team and Fred could have played in midfield.

I also don't like the idea that Rashford is suddenly unsubstitutable. We've all seen it when he has games like today, he's just not at it. Not suprised Antony is continually pissed off to be substituted every game.

I think it's more a case of being victims of our own success. We've played more games this season than any side in English football. We're competing on 3 fronts with a squad that clearly lacks depth and with injury to 3 key players. I was half expecting the loss tbh.

We'll be alright when Casemiro and Eriksen are back. Shame about Garnacho but we have Martial back.

Will do the Irish lads anyway (Majors always do), Power in top 50 so there anyway, Rahm and McIlroy brilliant early season now tailing off, haven't given it serious thought but tomorrow will do, just saw Connors doing well at the moment, not good news cos he's another of my favourites, his price will nosedive if he wins tonight <grr>

Can see McIlroy properly contending, and Lowry.

Then it's Spieth, Rahm, Thomas and Sheffler as obvious ones. Sunjae Im another. And Morikawa.

Jason Day outsider, Koepka and Smith possibles from LIV.

    ****ing loads actually!

I know, won't go down well if a LIV member wins it and there lies the danger, they joined LIV, not touching those etc
