well considering it had only been established less than a year earlier hardly surprising they didn't go for them
Think USA like Russia aren't members anyway so makes it much more difficult to get their people .

Didn't they go after the Serbians from the 90's though? (Karadic (sp) rings a bell)

Don't get me wrong, I posted it whilst knowing it's never going to happen. No chance anyone's investigating a British PM or POTUS.

What I never understand, when we see people who want to carry out terror attacks, based on events caused by the Americans or it's Allies, why do they always target civilians rather than the political powers that gave it the nod. I think the closest I've seen to taking out political power, was when the IRA tried to blow up Maggie, nearly four decades ago. At least then if someone went for someone like Blair, I'd say, yeah ok fair game, but to blow up a load of kids in Manchester, just creates more hatred.

yep but much easier to prove war crimes with them because of "personal" massacres like Srebinica but "precision" aerial bombing , uranium tipped shells etc are much harder as they are just standard warfare . The charge against Putin is to do with the transfer of Ukranian children and nothing to do with "war".

I haven't been paying attention on Putin's charge so really interesting that. But it also shows how little our news coverage explains this. Every news headline has been how he's now wanted for war crimes but I've not heard anyone mention it's for the transfer of children.

Do they just want the hatred? Cause division?

For me... and I know I bang on about this alot <whistle> but there's a world of difference between the aims of ISIS (who I consider to be fanatical animals) and the aims of Hamas. And it's for the very reason you've just mentioned. Not condoning or supporting violence towards innocent ppl by either btw.

I suppose for me, I don't care if they are ISIS, Hamas, IRA, some mentally ill person, to target kids does cause division - I'd give Northern Ireland as an example, I honestly don't give a shhite about them, my whole life all they've done is argue and fight - I'm sick of it, so much so, I just wish they would fook off. It's like us targeting Putin, we are just as bad as him, America have manipulated this situation for decades, then when the EU and NATO see their chance they seize it, in fact I'm fooked off with all of them. We need to line up all these leaders, and those that don't agree to stop fighting, a swift bullet to the head, next please.

I suppose what I meant is that ISIS/Al-Qaeda will travel to other countries, even recruit lunatics here to go and kill innocent ppl in America, in the UK, France, Spain etc. I don't see that with Hamas, whatever beef they got going on is between them and the ppl who are oppressing them. I don't see them trying to push some ideology, it's just about, give us our land back.

But at the same time you could say, well that's what the IRA were up to, and you'd have a point.

Having said that, at least you're of the opinion that you wish they'd just fck off and have their united Ireland. I'm of the same view. The problem with the middle-east problem is no one is ever going to say that. It's at the heart of everything.

I think the IRA saw sense in the end, although it took them decades to get to that way of thinking, attacking the financial sector buildings rather than innocent civilians, they soon realised that was the way to the heart of the government, blow up business wealth and those in power will soon fall inline.

An explosion in the north of annexed Crimea has destroyed Russian missiles being transported by rail, Ukraine's defence ministry said.

The Russian-installed head of the city of Dzhankoi said the area had been attacked by drones.

Ukraine announced the explosions but, as is normal, did not explicitly say it was behind the attack.

If confirmed, it would be a rare foray byUkraine's military into Crimea, which has been annexed since 2014.

An explosion in a St Petersburg cafe has killed prominent Russian military blogger Vladlen Tatarsky, Russia's Interior Ministry has confirmed.

At least 16 people were injured in the Street Bar Cafe explosion, police say.

Videos posted on social media show an explosion and injured people on the street. It is not clear who was responsible for the blast.

Vladlen Tatarsky (real name Maxim Fomin) was a vocal supporter of Russia's war in Ukraine,

He had reported from the Ukraine frontline and gained particular notoriety last year after posting a video filmed inside the Kremlin in which he said "We will defeat everyone, we will kill everyone, we will rob everyone as necessary. Just as we like it."

Interior ministry sources quoted by Russia's RIA news agency said a bomb was hidden in a statue presented to Tatarsky in a box as a gift.

Saw a video of the explosion on twitter, just instantly took out all the windows and it looked a fairly big cafe.

    I haven’t see it yet.
It might not necessarily be Ukraine behind it. Plenty of others oppose what’s happening.
