Darren Bazeley was promoted from U20 coach to acting head coach of the Kiwi side that drew 0-0 with China earlier this week - the guy who had been offered the position couldn't take it up because of a family illness.
The story behind his signing... https://archive.is/2023.03.24-13412...-foster-wrexham-ryan-reynolds-rob-mcelhenney/
One of my early favourite WFC players. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...craig-ramages-watford-career/#comments-anchor Probably be even more skillful and classy if he played on the pitches we have today and along side a Pedro for example. Mind you not sure how fit he would be/get.
I think he would be a Louza type player who would control the top our midfield, if he kept his weight down (his main problem AKA Nigel Callaghan) and he could last the 90 minutes he could be a fans favourite in this era
Leicester City have sacked manager Brendan Rodgers following a fifth defeat in six Premier League matches.
He probably thought with us our be best bet was to to get a point with every game with the odd win thrown in
Do you realise we had five ex Watford managers managing Premier League teams during one season, is that a record In total I believe it has been seven ex managers charge of other Premier league teams Our Premier League Manager Academy must be on of the best
Yes heard that although obviously one less now Rodgers has left Leicester. People were trying to use it as a stick to beat the Pozzos with saying they get rid of good managers despite obviously hating Hodgson and not really being that bothered when Gracia/Dyche for that matter (the football was crap etc ) Whilst Sllva basically wanted out and Rodgers left before they came . Of course Malky Mackay managed in the Premier league too !
And thf on the road it worked at times but unfortunately the home form was particularly bad plus his general attitude and behaviour annoyed people (although probably not as much as the current team does !)
