You could say that but if you are in business (as opposed to the weird world of football) people have to honour contracts, and that's what always happens in Mr Allam's other world. Lesta have offered a man under contract a new job, right in the middle of his contract term; potentially wrecking a rivals bid for promotion, and enhancing theirs. That's how a court of law would see it, and that's how it is.

If Pearson resigns that's how it may end up. Lesta started the process when they sacked SGE, and it always begins a round of musical chairs.

If we try and entice a new man from another club we are just as guilty and will face the same problem. The cash will be needed to compensate them.

There's a good few gardens in Hull that need sorting out too, the 3 of them could do a good job. Tell them to **** off anyway, then they can come and sort my garden out too!

What bothers me is that the players are upset that he he is leaving, and some of them came to Hull because he was our manager. How will this affect those players? Rosenior has already expressed his disappointment what about the rest?

Koren will probably be quite happy, he'll probably get more game time in central midfield.

Well at minimum he can't give him much less time in the middle, and we know Leicester are heavy on central midfielders and light on wingers so it's not like he's going to follow NP there to play in the middle. After that the situation isn't affected by the change in manager unless the new guy doesn't get on with Koren personally.

This will be the crucial part of the new managers job to quickly make the atmosphere an enjoyable one and get the players on his side, as well as getting off the a winning start. It can also go the other way, that players he brought in might feel a bit betrayed, that he has jumped ship for more money.

Why would players be keen to follow NP? If he's successful there, how many would fit in a well funded Premiership side? And if not, he's unlikely to be there for long if the rumours are correct.

They'd be going for the chance to be sold on promotion, or to stay in a struggling Championship side, or even a league 1 side, under a different manager!

Or they might go because they wanted to double their salaries.

LCFC already have an expensive squad of talented players, allegedly, who just need the right manager to motivate them. Buying our players would either mean the new ones don't play, which most footballers hate even with the wages, or benching the expensive talented ones, which is unlikely.

Waggy is theirs already, I expect him to go back, but other than that, I dont see many, if any, being taken SW.

It's going to be interesting to see just how NP does, he clearly likes to build his own team, with youth, and take time to get things right. He wont be able to do any of that there, so this is either going to make or break him as a manager.
