Bounemouth have a better home record than us as well. Five crucial games though before we play them and one of them is Leicester at home which will be another must win/not lose fixture. In fact I'd take a point at Bournemouth now and trust that we can get enough points elsewhere.
Win these 2 home games and that would leave us needing 6/7 points from the last 8 games, with only the City one being one we have very little chance of getting anything, as yesterday was, the rest we have a chance of a point or 3. 2 draws coming up
Certain players at certain times let their team mates and coach down. Previously they were doing as the coach instructed...big difference in my book.
Probably mental and physical fatique from Roca but at least we're showing signs of having the necessary tactical discipline required at this level to get results. Marsche coached the players to hunt in packs and leave other areas of the pitch exposed unless I've missed something.
The defensive mistakes we've made this season (under any of the managers) have been unacceptable. It's like they take it in turns. Meslier made another mistake yesterday in the first half when he came out of his area to clear. Very similar to Wolves and also Brentford. I've no issue with him coming for it but he hasn't learned. Hoof the ****ing thing in to the crowd so we can reset. That's 3 times this season. **** like that has cost us points this season and Mes isn't the only one.
Meslier Kristensen, Koch, Wober, Firpo Sinisterra, Roca, McKennie, Summerville Gnonto or Georginio Rodrigo
Going by Gracia’s presser last week it sounded as though both Wöber and Gnonto will be out for a couple of weeks at least.
When Gnonto went over on his ankle, I said to my mate, that's a 2 weeker, so probably 3 before he plays again.
If Wober and Gnonto out we have to use maybe Struijk at LCB but also have Cooper. Luckily we have Summerville, Harrison, Aaronson, Georginio, Sinisterra who can play in place of Gnonto. Hoping that Sinisterra starts paying back the big money we paid for him. Yes he’s been injured but basically he hasn’t helped us this season except when he came back from his pre season injury and managed to score 3 goals, he’s been out since then for months and against Arsenal he was missing really
Leeds loan players Cresswell completed his 8th clean sheet of the season and looking awesome, however he was taken off in the 99th minute with a fractured eye socket. Shackelton came off the bench to replace him so Jamie still not pulling up any trees. Drameh still smashing it and another clean sheet and looks highly likely to be playing in the play offs. Poveda came on at half time and his team were spanked but Big Mick is a has been manager and doesn’t like mouthy Poveda, a wasted talent. Alfie played the whole game and ended up in the losing side in a 0-1 bore
