What would have been 'cruel' would have been Palace being denied 3 points on a performance of 31 goal attempts to 3 ... and not a single one in the first half ...

Writing has to be on the wall ...players went away and played well in the International break ...but he manages to transform them into a collective shower of ****e ...

We conformed with FFP by not spending on transfers before the start of the season and the owners wiped out our debts ... United meanwhile owe £1bn but brought in loads ... think there must be different rules for different teams

Friars Crag's not far from Keswick worth a visit for the scenery

Funny you should mention that place, me and the Mrs used to go to Castlerigg campsite just down from there, about fifteen minute walk.
Three Easter's in a row before we had kids and that.

There's a bar in the Castlerigg Hotel called the Crag bar, used to love that place.

Spent many a weekend as a kid in Keswick too.

 

Nice easy walk round the lake.

Although some great hills above of course.

Keswick is a bit built up for my liking.... not saying it's not a nice place , but I don't see it in the same light as kendal windermere or Ambleside.

 

Beautiful part of the country, was around there a lot in the 90's early 00's, as you said, great walking country. Used to a fair bit of diving there too, a few times we did some work for insurance companies, retrieving stolen cars out of the lakes. Hodges Close was a favourite place for them to be dumped and a bastard to get out.

 

Anyone know how Chelsea got on today and how their fans have taken it on their board, I bet @Treble does.

They're sinking like a stone but some of their fans are crying about a few folk having a bit of food at their ground ffs.

 

That's twice today I've walked into stuff like that, I thought the first was bad enough, but that was aiming for new heights.
