Totally with you. People are reacting to recent form, not todays performance. We missed 3 absolute clear cut sitters today and had another good 5 or 6 dangerous opportunities you’d expect to score a few from. Could easily have been a 5-0 and it wouldn’t have flattered us. Much like when we beat Spurs away in our first ever premier league season, we wouldn’t have had much to complain about if they’d absolutely panned us. Sometimes that’s just the way it is. We should have won comfortably today.
A top 10 season next year would be fine and more progression. I think top 6 is possible next year but there's a lot of recruitment needed

The one thing that constantly gets me is we line up almost every game with a team that would perfectly suit a Allardyce/Bruce type hoofball game yet try to get them to play a patient, possession based passing game. I often see our team sheet and feel like Rosey is taking a rally car out onto a GT course.

When I saw our line up I thought "We'll be lucky to get nil" and so it proved. Our "front 3" had scored a total of 16 goals in the EFL and weren't helped by playing in different post codes. We could have swapped Longman & Allahyar over to cause them problems but didn't. We looked like we didn't have a clue. Not impressed, I doubt we got many converts from new fans.
