I did something similar a couple of matches ago. Saw the time and rushed to the pub for pre match mood stabilisation only to realise I'd read the time on a site giving UK KO the positive was the extra hour in the bar.
I know it would still be tight, but after todays results I really do feel that if we lose then we are down tomorrow.
Agree. A draw may keep us within touching distance, but a loss & I think we are down unfortunately. COYR
Let's hope the team don't feel like that. We're not down until etc. That day has not arrived, there have been last day escapes too. Keep positive, life is too short for anything else.
We’re now in the position where a win doesn’t take us out of the relegation zone, psychologically it feels quite bad.
Is there a melt-down to the power of 4? If there is it's problem started already? The joys of being a Saints fan!!
**** or bust day today I reckon. Lose and it's likely that we're the team that gets cut adrift in this incredibly close season. Win and the great escape is truly on. Hopefully we perform better than the other aways I've attended this season (Spurs & Newcastle) though I'm sure Danny will score after getting some abuse from our fans. Youuuuuuu reeeedsss
You’ll all be pleased to learn that I have to miss this as I’ll be out lunching. That usually means a massive Saints victory, except when it doesn’t.
I will also miss the match, as I am supporting my wife at a craft fair this afternoon…..hoping for some good news when I check the score later.
I'm sure that looking at other exhibitors' jewellery, painted stones, knitting and woodwork will lift your spirits much better than a Saints win.
Like you, I have sadly come to realise that we're just as likely to be useless when I don't go, as when I do. Very much regretting not getting a ticket for this
