If Ainsworth wasn't a legend amongst the fans, the **** he would be getting would be unbelievable. Some of the worst football I have witnessed at a professional level in years and years. All of his games in charge have been awful to watch, tactically. Clever move by Les and the board.

In terms of ‘this is what you fans wanted, live with it, don’t blame us’?

That's what I mean yes. It's a shame cos it won't end well for him, in my opinion.

I had my arm twisted to go today. Mainly cos my lad wanted to drive. That's it for me now (said the same under Crichley). Ainsworth will just make us another Wycombe. A nothing team. He just doesn't have the nous for anything more. I can't pay to watch that type of football when I can see it for free at my local park on a Sunday. Martin just sums it all up for me. A complete and utter waste of a player, more concerned with trying to start a fight then actually moving around.

I bet Ainsworth wishes he stayed with Wycombe for a promo fight as opposed to being part of the Championship’s biggest capitulation.

Feeling completely apathetic about the whole thing. Not sure why as in years gone by I'd have been morose. Life is busy and if the team are going to put in this sort of performance I'm not even going to waste my time being down about it. Hardly tempting to spend the few free hours I have at Loftus Road at the moment.

Do you think they deliberately got him to keep the fans off their backs whilst not believing he would be any good?

I’ll give you their incompetence, but I hope they are not that cynical. I just think they had run out of ideas and potential candidates and went for the soft option.

Ainsworth has never been a legend for me, not his fault he was just around when other things than football were occupying my time. It was pretty obvious that he doesn’t fit the template manager that we were building. Any principles that the club was meant to have around the way we play football were chucked out the window for expedience.

It is what it is. We have plenty of experience of supporting a **** team. In League One we get another chance to get to Wembley as well, the Football League Trophy!

I think they got him to appease the fans, which has worked and is working. I mean losing to Blackpool 6-1 is a sacking offence on its own regardless of the brand of football implemented. The appointment gave the board some breathing space with the supporters and add in the fact he's never spent a penny, then it fits this QPR model perfectly.

I have a lot going on in my life right now to deal with but foolishly I let this Saturday afternoon downer repeat itself endlessly.

Honestly, how have we capitulated to such an abject mess of ineptitude?

As they say, it's the hope that kills you

I've opened a nice bottle of Vouvray and will have an arguement with the girlfriend to cheer myself up

By the way, just read this on the beeb -

'However, the club could face further sanctions after the EFL announced further charges against Wigan relating to non-payment of wages and failing to comply with an agreement with the league.'

How far will go with your apathy?
    League 2?
    Non-League?

QPR boss Gareth Ainsworth told BBC Radio London:
"You can't ship silly goals like that. In this game, especially in this division, the first goal can count for so much.
"It's one ball, a punt from their box, down the field and we don't defend it well. It's criminal and basic stuff. It's not something you would work on in training because it is so simple, but we got it wrong.
"Then we were chasing the game and after that there were positives. We probably troubled Wigan's keeper more than they troubled us but just didn't get that finishing touch.
"At the moment goals are few and far between for us and we have got to make sure we put that right."

Not sure. I know I felt more passionate about the Holloway L1 team than I do about this lot. I don't really think it's about level for me, it's about the fight I see on the pitch.

Apathy? I go to games mate. Home and away. Not all of them but a lot more than you. I’ll be going to the West Brom game on Easter Monday. I’ll buy you a ticket if you fancy it.

How is your calling other people apathetic going make any difference to our results or the league we play in? My attitude doesn’t make any difference at all to the way we play and what league we end up in. And if I were genuinely apathetic I wouldn’t be posting on here, would I? If we get relegated I’ll have some fun with it. It’s a ****ing hobby, not a religious vocation.

I’m not apathetic, just pragmatic for my own mental health if nothing else. If we don’t go down this year we stand a very good chance of going down next year with this manager, player group and financial situation. I don’t have a magic wand to wave or a fantastic solution up my sleeve. It is what it is, the way football works in this country.

There is an article in the Guardian today about a lad who supports Spurs but feels it has taken over his life and he has lost any sense of objectivity or perspective in the rest of his life

    Interesting article

For me QPR is a part of me and my heritage, so as long as the club continues to function at any level I don't mind. Sure the successes are great but also the shared 0-1 away defeats at Barnsley with my lad or a pint with the Northern Rs at Wigan away after a crushing defeat are part of the 'fun'

Anyway Spurs are s**** and QPR are pretty cool in a non-succesful yet we had a Guinness top sort of way
