Some of the worst football I have ever witnessed is coming in this Ainsworth era. I feel for the bloke as it ain't going to end well for him. Wigan were more organised, could mix their play, had the lad Lang who ran all over. We have definitely improved at booting the ball out of play though. Getting really good at that.

I actually thought with a couple of players back we would improve...but no, absolute dogshit again...what is the feckin plan? What is the system? Second to every loose ball, no fight, no composure, so slow, outmuscled, not creating chances and back to knocking it about aimlessly in defence again, I just give up

My heart always sinks when I see Armstrong not even named on the bench.
We know we’re probably going to be desperate for a goal towards the end. At least the prospect of him coming on to cause chaos with his pace and enthusiasm late in the game gives you some hope. With Chair back, there’s always a chance of free kicks around the box.
Lowe isn’t exactly a game changer so I feared the worst.
