You are right, it is boring (as s hell).
Yes, we'd surely be better off playing faster (not necessarily more direct) so why the hell don't we? I still see no improvement on our attacking approach under Rosenior, infact I'd say we've gone backwards. I'm saying this week after week. Jury out,

Traore was brilliant today, tufan too when he came on. Feel gutted with that draw, they were there for the taking. Just can't do it in that final 3rd

We had so many openings and chances just nobody came up with the quality to finish them off.

    Longman 1 on 1
Slater and Allahyar both clear sight of goal from the edge of the box should have done much better.
Tufan double miss from 4 yards.
Traore put through 1 on 1
    Ebiowei free kick
Alfie Jones had 3 clear chances from about 10 yards
Ebiowei excellent ball right across the face of goal, any striker on the pitch would have naturally been there for a 4 yard tap in.

Totally dominated that from start to finish, could and should have been a cricket score. We didn’t play **** by any means.

It's fair to say Rotherham worked hard for their point, and the ball just didn't fall for us today. Yes, in the first half, we were a bit slow with the ball from the back, but 2nd half was better, but the ball and decisions (free kick or pen, difficult one for the ref to decide), just didn't go our way on the day.

Seri too I thought. really should have played Tufan instead of Longman, who is just anything other than a winger.

As I said with nothing really to play for there is logic in getting the team well drilled ahead of next season. And let’s be honest it was hardly flat and drab today. People are obviously frustrated with the lack of goals but I can’t remember us creating so many good openings in a single game as we did today since the league one campaign.

If nothing else, at least Rosenior actually has a plan. We are suffering right now from a Willy nilly scattergun approach to recruitment, lots of good players that don’t complement each other or fit together into a team whatsoever.

If we have similar resources again in the summer to recruit but this time with a solid plan in mind, days like today will turn into demolition jobs and I’m sure we will win a lot more than we lose.

So if theres nothing to play for as you put it.... why oh why are some of the youngsters who will be wondering when/if there time at HCAFC is ever going too come not given the chance. Surely then 'the manager' can see how they react to playing in front of 25k instead of 1000. They're lauded about their potential etc and invariable shipped out to non league football... ball less management...

No wonder the manager doesn't sleep well at night. 1 win in 9, too much time overplaying the ball in your own half, free kicks passed back into your own half, a bumper crowd left underwhelmed. When you adopt tactics the manager insists on playing, the writing is on the wall for the team.... and him.

Nothing really to play for?? There's 23,000 bums on seats, our biggest crowd for many a year and a Club crest on their chest..That's enough for starters.

Hopefully we'll still have "nothing to play for" by time our last two home games come along, and the dog shaggers aren't on our tails...

1 shot on target at home, dreadful.
We created bugger all, for the life of me I can't understand why Allahyar never got a run up top as despite having the beating of his man all day there wasn't anybody in the middle. Having our 3 strikers out isn't helping matters, Conolly is a big loss, the squad just is simply not strong enough. The bench today consisted of midfielders/defenders that aren't good enough for a starting spot barring tufan. Recruitment is going to be key for next season, then we can judge Rosie.

Too much doom and gloom on the thread tonight, ok we didn't win and it it's disappointing. On the up side some of our football was entertaining, especially second half, we saw what Traore can be capable of, Allahyar looked more threatening than he has done before and Ebiowei always looked dangerous, although it might not matter much in his case. For a late season dead rubber it could have been a lot worse.
