Yeah. Palace had eight chances to get three wins (now seven chances to get two wins). Realistically, it was/is difficult seeing them failing to do that. I do feel sorry for Vieira, not getting the chance to oversee any of those eight games.
Problem is, if Leicester change the manager I still think they are better than us. Some bad results for us today tbh. I am still struggling to see 3 worse teams than us. It’s going to be so tough to stay up from here.
At least with Leicester dropping that point we get the chance to move up two places with a win tomorrow. Our GD is doing us no favours this season.
So if we were to win by five tomorrow (obviously not going to happen), I'll have my dream bottom three.
Did you not see the game against us? They were miles better than us that day, we got the win thankfully but if they play like that then they’ll stay up pretty comfortably
I may have misunderstood, you said if they change manager they are better than us. They are already miles better than us, like basically every other team
They were better in that game, but they’re pretty awful, which is why they are where they are. They had three shots today to Palace’s 31! And it’s not like Palace and Roy are known for attacking, free-flowing football.
Todays results mean that tomorrow is even more of a huge game tbh. If we lose, looking at the games in hand and fixtures, I think we are done.
I'm not sure it's changed too much. None of today's results were exactly a shock. We're as much in trouble now, and as much in need of a win tomorrow, as we were at 3pm. But then again, I already think we are done.
That’s just to beat West Ham, we are massive odds on faves for relegation. There was an article on bbc which had us as 73% certainties to go down
So it seems we can't rely on other results to help. It's all on us to dig ourselves out of this mess. This is fine.
I wouldn't be surprised if this is now Fulham finished for the season (even putting aside the loss of Mitrovic). They're safely tucked up on 39 points, so they're not going down. But with just one point from their last four games, have they got anything left in the tank to turn that around? We know more than most what it's like to stop collecting points from Feb/March onwards. That said, it wouldn't really be much of an advantage to those below. Six other sides in the bottom nine will be following Bmouth in still having Fulham to play. So if Fulham do become a bit of a soft touch from here on in, lots could benefit - potentially cancelling each other out somewhat.
If you had a lottery ticket in your hand and it had a 73% chance of winning the jackpot would you be booking an all expenses trip? 73% is all but certain
