Does he look remotely bothered by any accusations regarding golf or football or any human rights ****e. Nope!
To be honest, they were pretty much a debt free club till the Glazers bought them, passed the purchase price back as debt back on and have failed to make a dent in it during their entire tenure... All the while milking it for their own coffers. Some scheme to be fair.
I still can't get my head round how this is fair or even how it is allowed. How can a Club owe money to the person who bought it being the price paid to buy it ???
I'll explain ... it's not the fans club and the owners can do what they want. That's what nufc fans were told as I recall.
And then selling it on for circa £6bn…I’m clearly in the wrong ****ing business. This football industry is just riddled with rewarding (very ****ing handsomely at that) monumental failure time after time with **** tonnes of cash! Some scheme indeed!
So, for useless Managers, is it success or failure to fail and be paid a fortune s a goodbye handshake for failing?
Would depend on if they were sacked on grounds of gross misconduct for making inappropriate conversations in public
Oh managers get rewarded for being terrible. That’s a different story to owners. There is now risk. A manager gets his big contract and he knows he can’t lose. An owner can lose a **** load. Even eveything by simply getting relegated. Manu being valued at 5 billion it’s absolutely crazy. We will soon overtake Man City. If we are allowed to that is. Which means there won’t be any room at the big boys table for a big six club. And guess what, **** them it’s our turn.
Depends if you can somehow keep convincing other clubs that they should also give you a nice fat contract, despite the previous 'failures'. In that case, it is very astute business for the manager to keep getting golden handshakes and then walking straight into a new contract. Brucey deserves far more credit than he gets.
