To comfortably survive in the Championship with a £12m wage bill is a real achievement, everyone deserves a lot of credit

Doing that they'd have lost even more.

This was about them doing whatever they could to get out with as much as they could, it absolutely doesn't deserve any credit.

Plus they allowed the club to accrue that level of debt in the first place!

It's all bollocks really, I suspect they had more out of the club through player sales over the years.

I dont think they took any money out of the club through players sales
The only way they can take money out of the club is by the following:
salaries - I think they did
dividends - I dont think they did
interest on loans - they did charge interest but they said it was only at the rate they got from personal loans to put money into the club

Ehab made that up to justify it, the money came from Allamhouse, who didn't have any significant loans.

It wasn't really undisclosed, it was reported pretty much everywhere to be £16m with a potential £4m in add-on's.

Widely reported does not mean that was the actual figure though.

It usually means one person said it was a certain amount and so everybody else ran with it
    It could be right though

    maybe not equally
If the Athletic goes round giving wrong information and it gets out their reputation would take a big hit
