Sorry to read this mate, hope you are now on the road to recovery that you are soon back on top form. Something that a seems a long away off for Spurs at the moment. All the best 'Colin'
It is essentially there, Maggie, you just somehow managed to type it inside the quote of Colin's post
Get well soon, buddy! Look on the bright side. Could be worse, at least you're not a Spurs fan...... Seriously, take good care of yourself.
He was very decent and caring; did so much for Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. A sharp wit, but much better when delivered by him, as himself, rather than as Savage, in my view.
Very sorry to see this RCL - hope you are now much better and can look forward to Spurs winning their next 10 games to put you completely to rights.
Hi Maggie - you managed to to put your message between
and
so it appeared to be part of RCLs message. I fixed it for you. Like me, you probably have a mouse that is too sensitive and selects somewhere you didn't want to start typing
Just seen a reminder about this game , my memories of it are that Barcelona were the most cynical and dirty team I have ever seen play at the lane ,that includes Revie era Leeds and prime crazy gang Wimbledon I recall Steve Perrymans disgust at their tactics and the fact they used a prayer room after the match to absolve their sins
I've got the ticket somewhere, I showed it to my son who couldn't believe it £2.00 for a European semi final, I was standing on the shelf down the paxton end
A terrible game to behold. A galaxy away from tika-taka (although perhaps Spurs set them on that path - they signed Archibald and had El Tel as manager) . And insult was added to injury by that Clemence error,
