Yeah, the FA said a day or two after the game that a standard 3 game suspension doesn't seem harsh enough. I'd expect him to get 5 games or so.
I can only think of the Di Canio incident as being comparable, only this one had better balance. Di Canio was banned for 11 games! I don't see why it should be any less.
Yeah, I agree. Saying that...Fernandes pushed a linesman a couple of weeks earlier at Anfield and there has been no repercussion. Meanwhile Toney hasn't faced any suspension for his betting as yet. Everton and Man City have broken FFP and nothings happened. It's all a bit strange. I'm sure they'd find a punishment for us.
They'll give him 3 + x but Fulham will appeal x so he'll miss 3 then be allowed to play against us. A day or two after we play Fulham x will be upheld. Am I paranoid?
Don’t forget about Paratici at Spurs. Banned for 2.5 years in Italy for cooking the books but still working in the Prem and now FIFA say they issued a worldwide ban in January……
I don’t want him to miss them, I wish he’d appealed and at least faced one of these three teams battling at the bottom. What he did was wrong but my “Typical” remark was more aimed at those games he’ll miss

So microbhitch is trying to influence the outcome. How big headed are these modern players they think they rule the game.
