Club career Scott made 15 appearances for Guernsey before his transfer in January 2020. In December 2019, Scott signed a pre-contract agreement with Championship side Bristol City. Having initially linked up with the club's academy, Scott signed his first professional contract with Bristol City in March 2021.
very interesting set of stats Middsbro seems to be one team hat needs his Talents! with 4 in the top grouping ..... We dont seem to gain from sell on's! most of the players we part with seem to go to lower Prem teams and rarely move on!
I think you're right on that one but it would be nice to see at least one of our old boys go on and set the world alight. The stream of those heading out the door to join, as you say, lower Premier teams shows that it is all about the money, but the other option is to join a top class outfit and sit on the bench.
When Burnley got relegated I was sort of hoping they might have a fire sale and get rid of Brownhill for £20m ....... IF WE TOOK THE BEST 11 PLAYERS THAT ARE PLAYING today, ex City that is and put together a team with a reasonable manager I reckon they would be top 2-3 in Championship or even holding their own at bottom of Prem!
bentley webster ayling kelly brownhill reid morrel burns paterson martin diedhu off top my head in 60 secs!
Burns, Martin , Paterson, Morrel and Fam Premier league standard, really?!!. most of them aren’t even Championship standard. Martin was in his day, but not now.the rest, not a chance.
John Emanuel got the winner at home to Man U in 1-0 win in November 1974 which I watched from the Open End. We also won the away fixture 1-0 (in injury time) at Old Trafford thanks to Donnie Gillies
Have reposted my comment above I didnt say they had to be Prem lge Standard I said championship / bottom of PREM ....
I know what you posted, they aren’t good enough to be top end championship either. Most of them would struggle to be in a middling championship team, I couldn’t see the likes of Burnley even considering any of them, Fam is probably the best of the bunch now and mid championship is his best level.
Alex Scott - Knee Injury. https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/nigel-pearson-bristol-city-scott-8307648
Knee ligament damage, knowing our luck, won't be minor. Keep everything crossed, this could have a massive impact on next season.
As you say Redprintt this injury could be massive for our club because many other rumoured transfer deals could go down the drain. Let's just hope that the injury rehabilitation will allow him to come back to form and put us back on track, even if it takes us well into summer because next season and all of it's variances are so important for the club going forward.

Burnley now need 17 points from their final nine games to become the first second-tier side since Leicester City in 2013-14 to break the 100-point barrier and win the league in real style. 10th game of season they beat us to have 17 points ...after 5 games they had only 6 pts!!! since then have averaged 2-5 points a game
