Well, my son's hearing is complete. No consequences. I haven't got the complete lowdown yet, but here's what I know: They weren't even charging him or accusing him in the end. I don't know why all the secrecy behind it and why they wouldn't give us any details before hand. It was in relation to the text and the roommate moving out, but it actually turned into the school being there to ask my son if he has any concerns about the situation and if he was OK. Don't know why they had to send out a letter saying he was involved in a violation or witness to violation and refused to give any details before the meeting if that's all it was. Seems like this was all bureaucracy at work. Police had to mention it to school because roommate showed the text as an excuse to move out. Police thought nothing of it but had to tell the school. The woman that reviewed it thought it was all nothing too, but had to hold a hearing because the police mentioned it.
Dunno. I will hear more later when meeting my wife for dinner. Sounds like a case of "cover your ass" by the various groups. Police had to mention it to school. School had to have meeting with my son. Sounds like everyone who saw the text saw it for what it was, a kid who was frustrated with being woken up at 3am every morning making a stupid comment.
Oh, and found out just now via text: his roommate hadn't told the police about the text. His roommate had been discussing the situation about my son and waking him with someone else. They had seen the balcony "threat" text. Reported it to the student mediators in the residence hall. Then the residence hall told the roommate he HAD to report it to the police. So it wasn't even his roommate that sparked all this off, it was some busybody.
That's pretty fun... If they have women's I'd have to get my Mum a pair ... Our family always joke about how much she loves Aldi, would be a good gag gift.
as a pick me up, our new kid striker Keyrol Figueroa (some of former Wigan player) scored a hat trick for the u18s
dear oh dear. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/65152140 do we really believe craig bellamy left it all to someone to put in bitcoin or whatever and its all gone? hopefully he will be ok as a coach or at least has a house.
Bellamy gave quite a lot of money to charity too. He's one of those players who could be a complete art-foal at times (golf club-gate); but he did have a soft and caring side underneath that twat bucket exterior.
theres quite a few you never hear of probably busted. I know we heard about risse in the same bother and david james and ruddock. Having a few mil is no really liveable off if you have nothing else and have to make it last 50 years. 5mil in the bank = 100k a year for 50 years. I could probably just about survive if you've an expensive wife who wants a range rover every 12months though... the thing about ballers is they'd have to "earn" 20 to end up with 5 mil in a bank account at the end given the way they spend on cars and stuff... and tax etc. 20mil = 76k a week over 5 years lads. the average prem wages is 60k. my sympathy for footballers is waning rapidly.
