My daughter was in there for lunch on Sunday and said it was very quiet, but she was also there with a friend on Friday night and it was absolutely rammed. She was told she'd have to give up the table as they were fully booked and the second sitting had turned up. I suspect it's just not a Sunday place.
In other related news the Issa brothers are in talks to buy the Subway chain. I thought they were mostly a franchise, could buy the brand name though.
Subway have been doing badly in the US, they've shut thousands of branches over the past couple of years and it's been up for sale for a while. Those two are trying to buy up all sorts of businesses, they've already tried(and failed) to buy ASOS, Boots, McColl's and Caffè Nero.
Been in the new Ancient Egypt exhibition in Ferens today, well put together if you have interested school age children or grandchildren, was busy and the cafe was full.
Great ! cheers , got the grandkids Friday , so before Puss In Boots The Last Wish at Reel and KFC ( for them) it’s a good start to a long day
Saw it at Wilberforce House in the 1970's when it was old Ancient Egypt. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
There isn't even a murder caused by stabbing almost every day in the entire UK. Even when you include stabbings that don't result in death, I'm sure that this is just hysterical ****e tbh.
Careful, you'll have the wrath of the LGTV4k lot on you. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
A Cooplands in Hull city centre has permanently shut amid a string of other closures in the area. The bakery in Brook Street has been a convenient place to pick up lunch or a morning coffee for many working in the city centre. Unfortunately, as of this week, Hull Live can confirm it will not reopen. This news follows the sad closure of the Cooplands Secret Garden cafes in Beverley and Cottingham. The community in Hull and surrounding areas has been disappointed with the news.
