All of a sudden loaning Harvey White seems like an ill-advised move

Alfie Devine is on a steady diet of echinacea and Yakult as we speak

The bigger worry is that a player often isn't the same again after serious damage to the ACL.

If Spurs finish PL top 4 at the end of this season,
you have to accept that :

    1. the saying that "the things that do not kill you, only
make you stronger" , is a true law of nature

    2. Harry Kane goes "meh" at such a combo of events

Ben Davies is reportedly going to miss the rest of the season with a hamstring injury

He’s been a waste of time…we always sign the useless ‘winners’

Udogie will be an upgrade but I expect the new manager to mess that up somehow or another as well.

He's a good player. He's not a defender, though. Conte misused him constantly.

attacking wise he seems very flat footed to me

    no venom

great at crossing if he’s given the time

not a pain up the bum…something I expect a winger to be

He's an old-school Beckham-style winger. Dangerous crosses and a goal threat.
His set-piece delivery is excellent too, which is why we've taken him off them. <doh>

The irony is that, in a 4231 or even 433, he could be a useful winger if we had a flying WB on the overlap

Instead we have a flying WB in Udine

Having watched him for 2 and a half years, yes, yes it was, lol.

It was a hard watch whenever he played, painfully inept at football, that said it’s been a hard watch with just about all of our FBs/ WBs over the last few years, the one that was semi decent we loaned out in the summer <doh>.

Porro does look like he’ll break that curse though thankfully and I’m excited about Udogie. We deserve some good luck in these positions now, had more than our fair share of bad luck.

Not in his hey day. He used to skin players (not with skill but directness and speed), was super fit and pretty pacey and both footed.

Hes 34 so obviously he isnt the player that he was

I think he's just playing in the wrong position and it makes him look terrible.
He doesn't even seem to have lost much pace.
We keep him too far away from goal to be dangerous and he can't defend very well.

We should've stuck him in Kulusevski's role when the Swede was out injured.
He still doesn't look 100% right to me, so he could do a job there now.

I consider it an example of the squad management of an "elite" manager ...

I understand he’s a free agent after his loan so the door is open for him if you would like to keep it open for him. :emoticon-0127-lipss

True. He was never really a wingback until the last couple of years.
Hes always been a winger/inside forward when i have seen him play.

I thought he was put wingback as hed lost his pace going forward (important for a counter attacking side) but admittedly i havent seen him play that much (in uk or in italy/Germany)
