Well we've reached the "Making **** Up" point of a potential sacking: Graeme Bailey at 90mins, and literally nobody else, have piped up claiming that sacking Conte would actually cost us £15m and not the widely-quoted £5m, apparently taking the terms of his £15m a year contract literally Meanwhile, Harry ****espout is getting vapours because Conte turned down the chance to sign a World Cup winner for £0.00 in the summer. That World Cup winner? Scroll down a couple of paragraphs and you'll find out: Paul Pogba...
Its a very lazy appointment Daniel but I have come to expect that of you shows you haven’t really bothered planning for this day which the rest of us knew was always around the corner
Appointing a coach or manager is a very hit and miss affair in case you have not noticed. In my lifetime there are about six who have really succeeded at one club and barely any who have done well at two. So appointing someone young and inexperienced whose strengths and weaknesses you know well because he already works for you is not in any way lazy. Arteta would be another example.
Yes, it is the defensive side that is the issue As that's the only side he puts out, even when we're chasing a 1-0 first leg deficit
You enjoy a good stat, have look at how many goals Spurs score and then have a wee look how many they concede and compare this to rivals.
Two years ago, almost to the day, this exact line was being trotted out by MouAnon supporters to try and shout down suggestions that their god might be sacked It never explains the utterly lifeless displays in 1-0 losses to Wolves, Sheffield United or Milan (on aggregate, as in two lifeless displays), let alone dropped points against Southampton or Leicester after taking the lead and sitting on it for the last twenty minutes to predictable results

Gary Jacob says we’re in talks with Conte over compensation for him and six of his staff. Also says as others have reported - Mason to take charge for final ten games. So, so silly. The final ten games would’ve been perfect for the new manager to gauge an idea of who he’d like to keep and build around for next season.
I agree, but it may either be provisional or something that a new manager may prefer, for some reason. I can't see any reason why the club would want that situation.
The sensible reason for it happening is because they have an agreement in principle with the managers who are out of work but also want to gauge the availability of other targets who are in jobs before pulling the trigger. Considering all options rather than jumping at the first person who says yes because they’re available is wise. However, we are not a sensible club.
You’re doing what you’re usually do and deflecting. My reply was to a specific comment you made. I’m not saying Conte is a god or that he hasn’t made mistakes.
First things first, make sure you have a salt shaker nearby, as you're probably going to need to take a few grains of salt with the next part as there's going to be one source saying one thing and another saying the opposite Poch reportedly doesn't want to join until the summer Glasner's got Eintracht trying to tie him to a new contract Amorim won't be leaving Sporting until the end of the season De Zerbi won't be leaving Brighton until the end of the season If we add "Wants to start immediately" to the list of conditions for a new manager that potentially stifles choice and leaves us mainly with free agents - and while Luis Enrique or Marcello Gallardo could fit the bill, by that same token Thomas Tuchel can best be summed up by suggesting that in 8-10 months we'll just be copy/pasting comments from the last dozen pages of this thread with the names changed
Jacob further says that Poch is interested in returning and Enrique would be interested if approached. Amorim, Glasner, Frank, De Zerbi and Postecoglou are also on our shortlist. Dan KP says Paratici is heading up the managerial search and Enrique tops his list. Based on various reports over recent weeks, it does seem as though Enrique is the slight favourite at the moment with Poch close behind.
