Dr Newland sends whatsdastory to Market Raisen in the 315 Hammond is in the plate and they are all in good form , lilath is the clear fav but whatsda has beat lilath by 5l previously and carries 20lbs less than that outing . The 7/2 looks very generous on the strength of that even more so in a 4 horse race.

This race could certainly take some winning and the yard are probably, no definitely, in my top five of under achievers in the UK.
However, this beast has a lovely pedigree being a half brother to Sporting John and also I love the name. He is by Elusive Pimpernel.
The owner is a lovely guy and a few seasons back had a really good horse. I hope he has another.

    15:25 Wetherby - Mcgowan's Pass

The bottom weight has a decent chance of a podium finish in this Class-4 Handicap Hurdle over 2m. Conditional William Shanahan (7) rides for the Jenny Candish yard.

15/2 (Bet365/Wm,Hill) best price at time of wriiting. E/W best option.

No chance with the Go Dante winner, but ran well to finish second at the surprise price of 12/1 (a nice drift). Happy with that! :emoticon-0142-happy :bandit:

What a lovely looking horse but far from the finished article and going to want a trip.
On the other hand it was well worth tuning in to watch the winner. Connections had the winner of this last year with Chasing Fire and the one today could be every bit as good.
