I'm just wondering how many bits of evidence you'll require before accepting other people have the same opinion as myself? He's now beginning to prove himself and that's great and you're still unable to take that olive branch.
Beginning to prove himself? He did that straight away with a great goal on his debut (should have been 2) and a goal in the next game. When not fully fit he won the game against Fulham, and now he's in full flow now he's fully fit, with two MOTM performances in a row. The only downer has been the injury, his quality has never been in question. Sensationalised journalism does not count as evidence, it's just designed to get a rise - especially in this case where the Mail are using misleading stats to give a false impression, and the Sheilds Gazette clown has completely misinterpreted Howe's words. If you think he's good now, then all great, but conversations about his worth/value for money are always gonna be invalid, as it's simply impossible to accurately determine such a thing.
You could say pancrates did based on one game, but he was free I believe and isak had been here all season and cost 63 million pounds. All the ifs buts and maybes don't matter ultimately he had 4 goals by march wasn't available for large parts and just hadn't justified the fee yet. There's just no need for people to get overly emotional about this and they should instead just be pleased he's now looking a player of great promise... late is better than never. Let's hope it continues... good for him btw
The injury was unfortunate, but at least it wasn't the whole season, and impact was lessened a lot by the fact the it coincided with the World Cup. Can happen to anyone, Shearer's fitness record was excellent, but even he had most of one season with a bad injury. Isak always looked quality for me, so it was just a matter or when not if that he'd get into his full flow for me. Having seen the likes of Riviere, Luuk De Jong, Xisco, Luque, etc recently, it was clear Isak was leagues above the likes of that lot.
Whether it's his fault or not doesn't matter really it still happened. I agree he's looked very good in at least 3 games now but has been poor in others let's not just ignore that. Vs man united at home I'm looking fwd to....we need him to keep this going.
Ironinic that it's my my old foe skeletor and now his assembly of rebels that are omitting key English words from my sentences and not understanding the differences.
Are you implying you're He-Man then? Also I could see why Obi Wan is assembling the rebels, but what is Skeletor doing with them?
Obi was skeletor in one of the mafia games... he ran off at the end with the matrix and doublecrossed his team. True story
Ok we're getting all sorts of franchises in a twist here - Obi Wan the wise Jedi master becomes Skeletor, the personification of everything evil (and everything gay), while being in the Matrix?
Isak called up to the Swedish squad, might get game time Trippier by England (won't play) Botman by Holland, doubt if he'll play but playing France so good test for him if he does
I hope none of them play a second, at this stage of the season. ****ing international football is a joke.
Botman may not play Friday but good chance he'll play Monday when they play Gibraltar. As for Isak I'm not sure,Sweden play Belguim and Azerbaijan and they called up Zlatan Ibrahimović,can see him getting some game time.
Terrible news,wish them a speedy recovery! https://apnews.com/article/netherlands-virus-european-qualifier-f8f0fe810c3f08dd034215129889e9c3
