Hahaha didn’t end well the last time Woy was parachuted in anywhere. Fear for Palace this and the Viera sacking may be the worst board decision than leaving Marsch in charge at Leeds for so long. Watford sacked Viera in January and Woy got the gig. He only managed to get 4 points in basically half a season and they were relegated in 19th. They were in 19th when he took over

….It’s not a ‘footballing decision’ this one is it. Sounds like there were behind the scenes problems at palace.

Ah well, let’s hope Hodgson does for palace what he did for Watford.

Whilst sacking Viera was a mistake, I think Palace will be fine.

You should never pick out scum players for special hatred. It implies you need to hate the others more.

I think it goes to prove that Palace are one of those clubs pointless to the premier league. They wanted to change the style of football etc. but panicked at the first sign of trouble, basically admitting they have no intention of trying to progress the club. Also they don’t care about the crap football they serve up to the fans as long as they stay in the league so that the money keeps rolling in. Jesse turned out not to be up to the task but at least he was a try at progressing with attacking football.

Much will depend on April's fixtures. Many of the bottom half play each other.

    Palace's April fixtures are....

    Leicester (h)
    Leeds (a)
    Southampton (a)
    Everton (h)
    Wolves (a)
    West Ham (h)

From our point of view we have to hope they either have a very good April (except against us) or an exceptionally bad April.

    Big Month coming up.
