They have been in trouble ever since Dave Whelan sold up .

 

Despite the adverse comments when we change Head Coaches/Managers I am very glad we have the Pozzos as owners and not some Middle East State owned Consortium because if the Profits and Trophies are not rolling in then the funding seems to evaporate like a puddle of water in the desert

 

I suspect the problem is clubs don't really care and will keep making short flights if it suits them regardless of how harmful that might be.

One hell of an attendance for the Notts County v Scunthorpe game today - 16086, with 1750 of those from Scunthorpe.

Notts striker Langstaff scored his 39th goal of the season, equalling the club record.

 

Wealdstone got a record crowd of 3k too.

Went to St Albans today - they beat 9 man Dover 1/0.

Should have been a lot more really .

 

Both clubs having moved, I'm not sure of the geography anymore but once upon a time Barnet would have been a local derby - and the upper reaches of the National League would be the highest level they have met at.

 

Wealdstone moved several times, their old ground is now a Tescos. I was there for a short while, never good enough TBH. Now play over at Ruislip. Club Tropicana is at the ground, a terrific live venue, especially for tribute acts!
