Lost 3-5 If this is a real word please direct me to any Binns store. 2 juiceys, lorimers, 3, 2 and my first hughie, a complete guess with the letters left to me got me a bogey 5. Hate this game at times.
A complete and utter fluke of a 3. It was more of an attempt to sort the two juicies, and use two new letters.....wasn't even expecting it to be a word tbh.
You must have first went to school about the same time as me and Chaucer as I had similar trouble , and still see the word as yaught. Etymology. Circa 1557; variant of yaught, earlier yeaghe (“light, fast-sailing ship”), from Dutch jacht (“yacht; hunt”), in older spelling jaght(e), short for jaghtschip (“light sailing vessel, fast pirate ship”, literally “pursuit ship”), compound of jacht and schip (“ship”).
Copy from yesterday changing the first word... One Juicies first word became one Hughie and three Juicies that gave me a good birdie
A very decent birdie two juicies Two Hughies and I now knew where the other juicy went One of two words and I chose the weird one thanks to Snaggeys comment for a nice birdie
Chart for the week.....and she's only gone and done it again!! Star of the week, for the umpteenth time, goes to Cumbriette (@cumbrianmackem) with yet another score of 20....she is seriously good at this . In second place, again, is @Blond Bombshell with a score of 23. Edit. Apologies to @malagamackem, who also scored 23, so joint second. (Talk about consistent.....I could have just about copied and pasted last week's summary) Been a few tricky words this week, with 4 scores over 30.
Think malaga will be having a word I've had another great run of birdies but getting eagles seems to be slipping away... I'm predicting a bogey or two tomorrow
