Seeing Ely on the team again justifies my decision not to go. I wouldn’t have gone mid week had I thought he’d have started. Then again, Adams was so far off the pace in that game, hoping he is really on it today. 0-3 Spurs.
This game suits Elyounoussi a lot more than the Brentford game. I do get his selection today, just not on Wednesday.

Elyounoussi may as well not have been on the pitch Wednesday. Our recruitment really is terrible when we have spent the best part of £100m and still have Walcott & Elyounoussi in our starting 11.
I don’t get annoyed, just deflated. When I look at the other bottom teams I see equal mediocrity but more effort and determination. They look as if they are actually trying to win the game, not just avoid losing.
