Just can't wait. Have necessary pills ready. How I wish a real nice billionaire gentleman woul buy the club, pay top wages to the best in the business, and..............oh, dream on.
Naively, stupidly or through ignorance, I approach each game in the belief we might win. When we go on those long winless runs that have characterised too many of our past seasons, I think, 'it's got to end sometime, why not this game?!'. I know it's a form of insanity!
I'm kind of numb now. Anything out of tomorrow's game would be fine. I really don't think there's much chance of it happening, but if we were to get relegated it wouldn't bother me too much. It might be fun in Division 1 under Ainsworth.
A very good friend of mine, of 40 years standing, is a Bluenose. He can’t make the game tomorrow but reckons it could be crucial for both teams. He’s just seen the video of the Haka embarrassment, which I was hoping fans of other clubs wouldn’t see. Now he says we’re doomed. I hope Plymouth don’t get promoted. Have nothing against them, but it’s a great away day.
My mates a Brighton fan and has just sent me the Haka video asking what’s going on. I said we’re f*cked basically
What's wrong with the video Bit of team building and imagine the injury list had he taken them to an assault course
For Amos, Roberts, Richards, Laird, Balogun and Willock, doing the Haka was like climbing the North face of the Eiger !
That's probably put them out for the rest of the season. I just tell anyone who asks that the Maori is our new centre back doing his 'song' for the team, better than 'My Way'...
Just got invited to watch on QPR+, luckily I’ll be asleep and hopefully wont wake up until afterwards. Expecting a Wales drubbing and hoping the Rs aren’t embarrassed again. It’s come to this. URsss
A painful look at the table looking for some inspiration, but the table is bare. Stating the bleeding obvious, but today is a must-win. I hope the Rs faithful can make all the noise and inspiration they did against Watford and be our MoM for the day. As ever I’ll be ‘hoping’ with the rest of you. C’mon you Rrrrrrrrrssssssss!!
Come on down to Loftus Road everyone & enjoy the day & atmosphere & see us get 2nd win in 3 matches, forget Tuesday that was a one off & history now, trying to put a brave face on it
It would ****ing bother me. We may never get back out of league one and could easily drop lower. Never, ever accept failure. Stay in the fight for next season and anything could happen.
Understand the sentiment but realistically it can't. For many years to come. It happens once in a blue moon. Blackpool going up being the last occasion I think. Ferdinand and Hoos are right in principle. We need to develop players and sell them on for big bucks . They have just failed royally in their other target - to get the right scouts and youth coaches in place as our record for growing our own is very poor as overall is our selection of players to target However having to manage the expectations of both the owners and the fans means that we have concentrated latterly on only parting with money on players with injury problems who are (once were a long time ago) promising and on other clubs promising young players on loan for a season. They do it because we all want promotion as soon as possible. Loathe as I am to forgive or to find excuses for him, it would not surprise me at all if part of the reason why Beale left was because he realised he would not get the financial backing to see it through. The wheels had already come off as the squad was too light, too injury prone and too brittle in character to sustain a push for promotion. We all know that January is the time to make a couple of investments to improve the quality of the squad for the run in. I am not an ITK, I am speculating but given the finances I wonder whether there was a bit more to his sudden departure than simple treachery.
I've been thinking the exact same thing regarding Beale too. There is no loyalty in football or very scarce at best. I believe Beale saw what the club could offer in terms of progression and bit Rangers hands off for the job. Can't blame him for that really
