Kyril Louis-Dreyfus has increased his shareholding in the Club.

Sunderland AFC today confirms Kyril Louis-Dreyfus has increased his shareholding in the Club.

Mr Louis-Dreyfus has increased his stake to 58%, with Juan Sartori increasing his shareholding to 33%.

The acquisition has been made through the purchase of shares previously held by Stewart Donald, who has reduced his stake to 9%.

SAFC’s Board of Directors and governance remains unchanged.

Excellent news, slowly getting rid of the leaches

 

For most fans, this can only be seen as a welcome move and a significant vote of confidence by Mr Dreyfus in his plans for SAFC.
However, it will be interesting to see how long before someone sees some ulterior motive in this move?

 

Be interesting to know how much KLD and Satori paid for the shares, not that we will ever find out.
Just wonder if Donald is finding it expensive to fund his share of costs.

Edit - Just a thought, wonder if the sale of shares is to meet Donald's liabilities

 

SD can't afford to keep up with KLD and JS either way, the are nudging him out bit by bit.

 

Always thought the long game would squeeze him out. The more we spend on transfers, the more it would cost him. Now only has to put 9% of a transfer in, which is probably affordable till we get in the prem.

His remaining stake will be worth more at that point though, so will be a case of who blinks first.

 

I thought SD still has a massive say on how the club is run, and invests £millions.....I read it on here.

I reckon it will end up 65% for KLD and 35% for Sartori at the end of the season. Donald cant afford to keep up imo.

 

With over 90% KLD and Sartori have complete control of everything.
Donald is less than irrelevant.

One of the good things about the KLD regime is that very little is known in advance. There used to be quite a bit of info swirling around and I'd get messages from quite a few people, nothing at all now.

Sometimes people have information and pass it on in good faith.Sometimes people talk s**t and make stuff up. Sometimes people pass on genuine information and are laughed at. Now I've been on here for a couple of years now and would like to think I'm someone that people can take as genuine. At 10:49am today, I was informed by someone, on here,of KLDs share purchase and that Donald would be keeping 9 percent but I was asked not to say anything, so I didn't. I've mentioned it now because it's public.

the haven't just woke up this morning, seen some of the fans reaction and thought "better quickly buy some shares off stewie"
