The answer is yes .. Wilson assisted isak for a goal and newcastle won ... so it worked..... I see no reason why that cannot ever work again.
Eh, Wilson and Isak are strikers, Murphy, Max, Gordon and Amiron are wingers, 'can play anywhere' is just another way of saying played out of position. Dunno why this is a discussion.
Think it shows we could start both Wilson and Isak, although to be honest I hope we don’t. I don’t think they complement each other. Think we should also be mixing it up a bit as well, as we are quite predictable in how we set up. Thought Saturday we looked a little different and it helped.
Its a discussion because newcastle play with 3 fwds rather than wingers. Ultimately isak and Wilson could play together along with another fwd. It worked successfully vs Fulham
Should Pope be warned about his place in the team if he keeps trying to get sent off when he makes a mistake?
Yea when one comes off the bench and we need a goal they can play together, but whilst we only have 2 strikers in the squad, they won't start together.
Pope makes great saves but he is useless on the ball and dare I say strikes me as a bit goofy. Needs replacing long term but many do
Isak Wilson max I wouldn't have an issue there if I saw that front 3 Ultimately the options are there so suggesting tha can't start is a fallacy..
I wouldn't be dead against it but it would still be Isak played out of position which i don't see much point in. Anyway, Wilson is finished as the main striker. ASM Isak Almiron is the way to go for the foreseeable, Gordon will have to work for his spot when back.
We don't play with wingers ... they're almost a redundant player..... The days of Keith Gillespies are over .
